Although Bulova began in a rather small, unassuming jewelry store where he offered items such as discount gold jewelry as well as watches, it was the beginning of an empire that has lasted to this day. Credited with the invention of the Accutron technology, Bulova watches were the first in history to accurately and reliably keep time via electronics, as opposed to simple winding mechanisms. The company has even had its mark left on the moon, which has played a part in information transmission since the original moon landing.

For many people there comes a sense of pride along with the ownership of one of these history rich watches. Although some of the designs may seem rather basic in aesthetics, the overall quality of the watch has been a testament to the vision of Joseph Bulova for over a century.
